Merry X-mas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa...

Or Happy Winter Solstice. Whatever. It's the end of the year, I'm off work until the 11th, and I'm sitting here at home, playing with my kiddos, blogging, and just generally soaking in the joy of my family and the season. Ahh, good times.

Amy is at the store picking up some stuff for the big family Christmas party tonight. After relaxing all Christmas Day tomorrow, we're packing for the Portland trip and Nick and Maria's wedding. We successfully handled 50+ people at the house last week for our graduation and Holiday party with friends and co-workers, now it's time for the family version...hooo boy. Good thing we'll have a good couple weeks to recover.

2009 was transformational for me and in a lot of ways a giant leap of faith. But here I am, one year older, one year wiser, and looking at 2010 with more hope and optimism than I've felt in a long, long time. Life truly is good.

So to all my family and friends who still read this thing, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and have a happy New Years! Be safe, enjoy your time off and be sure to take some time to reflect on all the goodness in your lives.
